Sure Shot Techniques to Get Over Your Ex! How to Get Over a Breakup
Getting dumped is undoubtedly one of the worst things that can happen to a person. To say this highly emotional event is devastating is an understatement. If you feel as though you tried just about everything to get back with your ex and it is not working, then perhaps it is time you stopped torturing yourself and thought about the very real possibility that you may have to continue on without them.
One of the very first things you’ve got to consider is the fact that you are not going to get over this quickly. You need to come to terms with that and deal with it as best you can. After all, you had a great relationship and very strong ties with your ex – it takes a long time to get over that. Next, you will want to stay as physically active as possible. Not only is this going to get you fit for the dating world, it is also going to promote a healthy mind and body – and this in itself can be very helpful when it comes to getting over these negative feelings. At the same time, you must make sure that you do not become a hermit. You must get out there and circulate as soon as possible, otherwise you may get in the habit of enjoying being alone. A breakup is definitely not something you want to deal with on your own. If need be, make new friends and kick up your social life a notch.
Lastly, you must make absolutely sure that you break off all contact with your ex. If you maintain a quasi relationship with him/her, you will not be able to move on and you will be stuck in limbo. This is definitely where you do not want to be because it is going to prevent you from meeting anyone else and possibly preventing you from meeting your next soulmate.
Not Ready to Give Up On Your Ex?Well, did you know that most relationships can be saved after a breakup, but few ever are? That is because critical mistakes are made in the days following the split. In fact, you are probably making those very mistakes right now without realizing it. If this sounds familiar, This Page could be a real eye-opener for you.

How to let go of him? Getting over a breakup.? I can't help but having hope that he’ll come back, as he never told me “it's over.” he said he doesnt want this to stop, and that we’re just “seeing each other” and “see what happens.” this was a week or so ago. He doesn’t message, and now doesn’t talk to me much at all besides “hi” at school. I do get the hint, as much as it hurts, i get that he probably either needs “space” for god knows how long, and so i guess its over. Nonetheless, im having a hard time coming to terms with this. I hate how he doesnt want me anymore, and i hate seeing him all the time. I dont know how to act around him (long converstaions, short hellos?) and i dont know how to feel. Do i wait or walk away? Im trying to let go. But its so hard. Does anyone have any advice?

I'm going through the same thing right now girl. The best thing you can do is not talk to him for a while. Just take a clean break from him. It's hard for me because we’ve the same group of friends. And heyy, he has a new girlfriend now–which definitely doesn't make it any easier lol. But anyways, this is what my friend sent me the other day and it got me thinking. Hope it helps
Whether or not you were together for 2 weeks, 6 months, or 4 years, breakups hurt. And they can be really hard to get over. If you listen to the wise words of Charlotte on Sex and the City, it takes half the time you were together to get over him. Here are a few more wise words to help make your next breakup a little easier. Don't Talk to Him The most crucial rule in breaking up is to not talk to the person you're breaking up with. Even if you think you can handle it and still get over the person, you can't. Don't kid yourself; feelings will get hurt. Take some time off, get over him, and maybe someday in the future you'll be friends. Until then, lick your wounds and recover any way you'd like; whether that be partying hard, staying in bed for days with pints of ice cream, or spending absurd amounts of money on clothes you don't need. No one will say a thing; we all heal in our own, weird ways. Snap Out of It Remember how things, like stupid songs and movies and that little spot in the park that you 2 went to on your first date used to be “yours”? Well, they're not anymore. Don't make a connection to platonic objects when there isn't one. Remind yourself that you like that spot in the park because of the good view, not because of anyone connected to it. There's no point losing more than you have to from a breakup, so don't get all sappy on yourself. Reconnect with Your Friends No matter how much you say you're not going to be that girl who gives up her friends for her boyfriend; everyone gives up a little of their time to spend with their guy. Well, now is the time to make it up to them (and, you could use the girl talk). So, go out and have fun; grab your best wing woman, and remember how much fun being single really is. Take Some Time For Yourself Amidst all of this trying not to talk to him, hanging out with friends, partying more and/or eating lots and lots of ice cream-you need to remember to sit back and actually work through your feelings. Understand why things went south, and why you're better off this way. And in no time you'll be back to your old self, and what's-his-name will be a thing of the past. It's All About Rewards And finally, do all of the little things that make you happy every day. Yep, being single means thinking about you, you, you. So, go and take that extra time after work and buy yourself that little ring you've been obsessing over. Or take a long walk and meet a friend for cupcakes because well, you can. Have fun spoiling yourself, because you deserve it after….wait, what? I'm forgetting already.

I can't get over a break up we had a long time ago? My wife and I began dating in college. We were always together in those days so when she broke up with me it really sent me into a tail spin. While we were broken up I would see her around campus and saw all the guys she was with. She left parties we both were at with other guys and apparently slept with them. She also posed for my roommate's fraternity publication which I found really upsetting as well. We eventually got together after I won her back and we’ve been happily married for six years. But I still find myself getting upset over what happened during the breakup. How do I get past my issues? Why does this still bother me now?
